Well i'm back from the dark depths of Tax Season. It threatend to swallow me hole this year! 

(I guess i should have mentioned i might not be around for a while....oops :) )

So starting this past weekend i got to have a real weekend and do fun stuff. My man and I wandered down to the Shenandoah Valley. Saturday we drove along Skyline Drive and hiked around talked to a few neat people.

Ended up spending the night at Skyland Resort (in the park). The food was okay and the "Irish Band" Entertainment wasn't really irish.  Who's there for the food and entertainment anyway right!?! We enjoyed the night sky with tons of stars.

Sunday we ended up wine touring and found a couple neat wineries. One is called Sharp Rock, they also have a B&B and 5 wonderful dogs. Before heading home we had a scrumptious meal at the Griffin Tavern. I had Shrimp Gnocci in a cream sauce with minced red peppers......It was VERY tastey indeed!!! after dinner i decided to get my ass kicked in darts.

All in all it was a very pleasent and relaxing weekend. no more overtime, no more working on Saturdays, no more 10 hours days.  I'm looking forward to hanging out with friends again in the near future.

I am soo excited to be here!  This place made it's way to my ears on the grapevine the other day. And I must say that The Archer did a fantastic job creating this site. I'm not sure if he had help or not but wow this is going to be a great adventure! I am looking forward to meeting all kinds of new people and running into old friends. I should get back to work now Iv'e been goofing off for too long!
